Laura’s PhD project focuses on the use of spatial transcriptomics to understand the gene expression signature behind the histological alterations observed in patients and animal models of muscular dystrophy.

Laura’s project is in collaboration with Dr. Ahmed Mahfouz and Prof. Annemieke Aartsma-Rus.
